GS Contest 'Kaishin Muba' by Jougeroth GS Contest 'Kaishin Muba' by Jougeroth
Here's my entry for GodzillaSamurai's "Kaiju Redesign" contest. I chose Kaishin Muba becuase he's a cool looking serpent. I don't know much about him, but I know enough to right a short bio on him.

KAISHIN MUBA

Length: 38 meters
Weight: 2,000 tons

Bio:
Beneath the dark gloomy waves lies an ancient creature of unspeakable powers. Every sailor knows he is not safe while navigating through the Sea God's waters. Any human who dares come near this horrid serpent will be killed with no mercy. The Sea God can't stand the sight of mere mortals making their way through his domain. You must be weary, for even in today's world, Kaishin Muba awaits to strike down all who dare defile his waters.

Abilities/Aspects:
- Able to fire an energy beam from jewel on forehead
- Armored scales guard against most conventional weaponry
- Powerful coils are able to crush steel with ease
- Can extend "rib-cage" like appendages to grasp prey

This Kaiju is from Orochi the Eight-Headed Dragon. I like the design of this guy!:icongreatjobplz:

I think he probably could be cool in the Kaiju Clash game.

Cool and all but..... It hardly reflects the original design at all. I mean where are his tentacles? His giant fins on his shoulders, and his numerous others and his orginal color for that matter? Don't get me wrong, I am all for radical redesigns, having done quite a few myself. But I can hardly see the original being reflected at all in this. Otherwise the art is great.

well for one, this is the only pic I had to work with for his redesign: [link]
As far as I can tell, my colors are pretty similar. The reason I didn't draw him with tentacles is becuase I didn't know how good I could make them look. It's a redesign so instead I have him those appendages with can stretch out to look like tentacles.

Ok, I have some pictures

He is more of a blue color accented with reds and oranges for his fins, is what I see. And its far more understandable since you only had one pic to work from. Wasn't trying to be mean, I am terribly sorry if it came off that way. For that I apologize.
